Garlic Lime Pita Chips

Simple homemade pita chips with garlic butter, fresh lime, and a light sprinkle of cheese. Crisp, warm, and easy to make.

  • 3 small pita breads
  • 1/4 cup - 1/4 cup garlic butter 60 ml
  • 1 medium lime zest and juice
  • 1 cup grated Asiago cheese 250 ml

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grate 1 tbsp lime zest into a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Melt garlic butter in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in 1 tbsp lime juice.
  4. Brush butter mixture on both sides of pita rounds.
  5. Cut each pita into wedges and arrange on baking sheets.
  6. Mix grated cheese with lime zest and sprinkle over wedges.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, switching trays halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

- Parmesan can be used instead of Asiago.
- You can make your own garlic butter by adding minced garlic to melted butter.
